WaterCarrier: Serving Those Who Need Water
WaterCarrier is a non-profit organization registered in Pennsylvania. We were founded to help provide access to clean, safe, water supplies to villages in East Africa, an area of the world where water is scarce, disease-ridden, and undrinkable.
We are partnering with missionary Ron Hanson and the Africa Oasis Project (AOP), an organization already operating in the region.
All funds raised by WaterCarrier are forwarded to the AOP, and designated specifically for AOP/WaterCarrier well drilling projects. All donor contributions receive a charitable tax deduction.
Our fundraising campaign began in August, 2009. We have already raised sufficient funds to drill our first WaterCarrier-sponsored well in Sokoine, Tanzania. Sokoine is located in the Morogoro region and Mvomero district of Tanzania, near the cities of Kilosa and Dakawa. It is our hope and prayer that many more WaterCarrier-sponsored wells will follow.
